OCD

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a common condition characterized by persistent, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors (compulsions).

For many, OCD symptoms include excessive cleaning, counting, checking, or arranging items in a specific way.

Therapy approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) can help people with OCD identify and challenge negative thought patterns and learn coping strategies. Medications can also be effective in reducing OCD symptoms.

Every person's treatment plan is different, but a combination of therapy and medication can often provide the most comprehensive treatment approach for OCD.
